Clinicals in CA with this program?

Hello everyone...

I am starting my LVN classes in Fresno at Gurnick and will be done March 2014. I want to sign up for this program right after i am done but concerned about one thing;

Does anyone know if they have worked with Fresno Hospitals?

Who do you contact at the school do clarify this?

I would hate to sign up for a program and find out the nearest location that they work with is 3-4 hours away. Here in Fresno we have 5 major hospitals and 4 more within 30miles.

Any help would be awesome.

ISU has an 800 information number for potential California students. The Calif BRN mandates that ISU place students in clinicals. The person who answers the phone is the person who also does the clinical placements. This person is intimately involved in placing Calif students in clinicals, and she can answer your question. You will be asked to give you name and other pertinent data on the voice mail recording, make sure you give you info but also make sure you ask your questoins--otherwise you will be emailed only general info about the program.
