Hello - I'm a new travel nurse - hoping to start at the end of May/2006. The first company to contact me was Clinical One - and the recruiter was (and is) very friendly and helpful. Does anyone have any experience with them?
Also....I am hoping to work in Tennessee - mainly because I hope to eventually relocate there.....does anyone know if travel nurses get paid well - in Tennessee? I've been told that California & Arizona pay the highest in the country...is this true?
My main reason for doing travel nursing is to get out of debt - I have 1 year experience in NICU - what do you think my chances are of making decent money in Tennessee?
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Did you ask the recuiter at Clinical One. They will be the one paying you.
I don't think you will do to bad in TN. Depends on the hospital. And your negotiating skills.
Arizona pay has come up some but it's definitely not as high paying as N.Cali.
How many years have you been a NICU nurse? You need at least 2 years of experience.
If you are traveling to get out of debt do you have a 3 month cushion. What if your contract gets cancelled? What would you do then?
Not trying to scare you but it happens.
