Hi everyone,
I am taking pre-reqs before I apply to the nursing program and am also taking a few classes required in the program before I get accepted to take some of the work load off of me. I am just curious if anyone has taken introduction to nutrition, medical terminology, medical math, and pathophysiology at the same time. I would like to know if it is do able or if I am taking on too much work to handle. I am taking anatomy and microbiology at the same time in the fall and I hear that is tough so I didn't want to add anymore classes to the mix. I would really appreciate some feedback!

Although I did not take the classes you listed at the same time, I think that course load is very doable! Pathophysiology is the class that you will really want to focus on. I would then say nutrition is the next hardest. I never took a medical terminology class or a medical math class, both were included in my nursing workload. However, those two classes will probably be fairly simple and straight to the point.

Totally agree with Sunflower. I took all but one of those classes (Patho) and they can easily be done together. Medical Term is alot of memorization. Nutrition was easy too, for me at least. I got an A in that as well as medical math (we called it math for allied health). I'm not the best student so if I can do it so can you.
Thank you both for your input! Medical terminology is not required for the nursing program at my school but a few
people told me that it would really help me out in the nursing program if I take it. I figured pathophysiology would be the hardest class that semester but I just didn't know how hard it would be. I strive to get all As so I just wanted to see if I was putting too much pressure on myself to achieve that goal. Thanks again for answering my topic, it really helped me out and made me feel a lot better!
