CIC exam

I have just begun to study for this? Anyone else taking this soon? Anyone is the past who has taken this has any tips or advice. Thank you.

When are you taking your CBIC exam?

I took the CIC exam a couple of years ago and passed. Frankly, if you have been doing infection prevention work for more than a year, you should do fine on the exam. I paid $50 for the sample test though I felt it was too easy and not representative of the actual exam which was much harder.

However, I don't recommend studying a lot for the exam. The difficult questions for me were ones that I would never have thought to study for and I would have missed them anyway.

Good luck.

I was supposed to take it in July but postponed it. Work and life got in the way. I bought the older version of the APIC text, that thing is so thick they had to make it into two books!!
