CHOP externship

Hello. I am wondering if anyone has heard about the CHOP externship. Have you been contacted for an interview, did they contact you if you were rejected? Any info would be great.

    Hey there. The interviews for CHOP's 2010 Nurse Extern program are March 5th and March 19th (I'm scheduled for March 5th :w00t:). Give them a call just to double-check. From what I've heard b/c of the economy they've cut the number of slots by like half so I know it's super-competitive. Good luck!

    Thank you. I actually did call and then got an email. I was denied. I am bummed since it would be an awesome opportunity, but I would have to relocate to live with my parents for the summer with my 4 kids, so it would have been a lot of work securing everything for them.

    Most places I applied have really cut back and I am still waititng on most. I love that CHOP at least says yes or no while most places only say yes and leave everyone hanging if you dont hear from them.
