I have a Chief Nurse interview this week for the Air Force. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on what to expect. Thanks

Expect the CN to go over things such as career goals, why you want to join, your educational background, work experience, and bases that you may want to look at based on your career goals.
At what base are you doing your CN interview?

know the core values. they will ask if you have any issues carrying a weapon on deployment and they want to hear a little about your background and why you want to serve. Its mostly low stress and a sort of get to know you meeting. Enjoy the interaction and have a few questions to ask.
I will be interviewing at Keesler.
Thanks for the advice.

thanks for the advice. Low stress sounds good to me. Being in front of the Col. starts off intimidiating if you think about it too much.

You are right about not thinking about it too much. They may be a LtCol, Colonel, whatever. But you have to realize they are still a person and still a nurse first and foremost. The other suggestions were great, but really just go in there knowing why you want to join, have an idea what you want to do in your career and just sell yourself. When i did my interview, it turned into to more of a conversation, Q & A session after about 5 minutes and I felt very comfortable. They know that you don't know everything and they expect that, so don't act like you do, they will see through that. Other than that, just go with it. Oh and be on time (at least 10 mins early)
