Chelan

Does anyone know what the working conditions are like in Chelan? I heard it was a nice area.

I don't know specifically about Chelan, but I have heard great things about the hospital in Wenatchee, which is close by. The hospital in Wenatchee is the only major hospital for the North East counties of the state and from what I understand highly respected. Chelan is beautiful with lots of outdoor activities all year long.

Thanks for your response!

Actually I have worked in Wenatchee in the past, and it was not a good hospital. I actually heard of it's bad reputation in Idaho. Maybe things have changed there?

I really enjoy working in small hospitals. Chelan seemed like a really nice area.

I once had a patient long long ago who was a psych nurse at the hospital in Chelan - she said it was a great place - however there were more psych patients than you would expect for a small town....

Hey, I think I worked in the same place in Idaho! :D

Small towns can be interesting. They're so boring at face value, and then you work ER, etc, and find out what's really going on!

Thanks for the response. It's nice to hear something positive about the place.
