Hi everyone,
Well, after some serious soul searching, I decide to apply to a pre-nursig program at my local university. I will do it part time as I'm currently working full time.
I work in contracts for the feds and made up my mind I do not want to do this for the rest of my life. I did make the decision to go nursing and my goal is to go Family Nurse Practitioner with a secondary choice in Mental Health.
Its a bit scary since I'm in my early 40's and decided to hang up the BBA and MBA for a BSN and MSN.
So, let the adventure begin!
Cheers!

Go for it! Seriously, if you look closely at your birth certificate, there is no fine print that outlines time limits for anything - LOL.
In nursing, secondary degrees (non nursing) don't really account for much so if your ultimate goal is to work in mental/behavioral health, you could just pursue an NP in behavioral health.
