Changes to the Board of Nursing

Can anyone help me? I am trying to find information on how the role of the state boards of nursing have expanded over the past 10 years. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

    As a for instance, our Board combined RN/LVN a few years ago. We have mandatory continuing education in our state and sometimes the BON requires EVERY nurse to take a specific course. Another big change has been RN First Assistants and Advanced Practice Nurses.
