Chamberlain RN-BSN Online Program

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has any information about Chamberlain's RN-BSN online program? Is anyone currently enrolled or completed this program? How long did it? Any information is appreciated.

Thank You in Advance,

Cherry

I'm currently enrolled in this program. I'm taking one course at a time, so it will take me about 2 years to complete it. My first course started in Sept 2008, and I should finish in Nov. 2010. I have really enjoyed my first 2 courses. The third course, Eng 135 starts tomorrow, 1/5.

Hello Everyone,

My Name is Nikki McMorris and I was interested in the RN-BSN program at Chamberlain College, but it is very expensive. I was wondering if anyone know of some scholarships out there that I can apply for. The next course starts March 5th 2009.

Thanks in advance.

I'm also interested in this program. Any helpful posts/advice would be appreciated!

I'm currently in the program and love it! What do you need to know? You can PM me if you need to.

Do your previous college credits count?? For instance, I see Algebra is there and I took an Algebra course 4 years ago as part of my RN degree.

Is the program flexible with your work schedule? Is the 3 quarters they advertise realistic with a part time job?

Chamberlain is very generous with transfer credits. Most likely your algebra credit will transfer. I got a total of 83 credits transferred, 80 for nursing courses and 3 for a Humanities course I took as an undergrad in a field unrelated to nursing.

I'm taking one course at a time, because I work full time. Since you work part time, you may be able to take more than that.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! :) It helps to hear from others who have first hand experiance.

I've been putting off contacting Chamberlain until I'm really sure I want to start. I mistakenly emailed for info on other online programs, leaving my home number, and I've been harrassed non-stop since. They call day and night. Frustrating.

I've had that "constant contact" problem with other schools as well. That's another reason why I picked Chamberlain. They are very amenable to conducting business by email and/or fax as well as the phone. Try emailing the Academic Advisory team.

The reason I'm on line right now is because I'm alternating between answering your messages and participating in an online discussion in my current class, English 135, Advanced composition.

Gotta love technology!

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions and best wishes with your online studies :)
