I graduated from Chamberlain last year with my FNP. I landed a job 3 months after graduating and another PRN job about 4 months after graduation. I got the 6 figure salary I desired and love what I do. You all stay the course and know that some days will be challenging but it will all be worth it in the end. I had a lot of negative talk about chamberlain when I attended but it was a good program for me. I am proud of you all and you got this!!
Hi Neica, thank you for your encouraging comment! I'm starting my third class end of Feb and I'm excited to get through this program. Do I need to be working as a nurse in order to get an FNP position? I worked as a MS nurse from 2015-2017, and then four months in PCU in 2020 for temp position. Right now I'm taking the general courses but I know that I don't want to work during the clinical portion. I'm worried that employers will not hire me if I haven't worked as a floor nurse since 2020. I probably will not graduate FNP program until end of 2025. I'm thinking maybe work PRN during my general courses and then step away if I do need to be working. Did you work while doing FNP?

Hi, anyone here going to Chamberlain? I'm enrolled in their FNP program and thought it would be nice to connect with others in the program or NPs that went through the program. Thanks:)
