Hi there I'm just wondering if anyone here has any experience with Chamberlain Irving campus? I have an appointment this week in the admission office but I'm having a hard time finding anyone with actual experience. I know the school is new but would love to hear from those that have already started.
Thanks

Hello am not in the Irving program but am in the program in Houston
Thank you for replying. Would you mind sharing your experience? Good bad and ugly! I had my appt today with admissions and it looks good, really small but I like that. I'm terrified to make the leap, its so expensive and I have kids so what if something happens and I had to drop out. Just very scary especially not knowing anyone in the program and their experience.
Well I can say yes it's scary with the amount... But if it's worth it to you... You will make a leap... Am really standing on a wing and prayer.. I have all good things to say... My test was nerve wrecking but that's my own fault.... I was extremely cold in that room ant rushed through... I passed... I had a really decent GPA ... And another bachelor degree... I don't like that I have to start from the bottom being I am a LVN but with 2 years 4 months it is the same if I went ADN to BSN....

I am with you I am hoping to get in for May at Irving campus. From other people and threads I have been told their program is good and everyone so far has been happy with it. They say you have to keep up on your reading to stay ahead! I was supposed to start last term but some of my transcripts were delayed! I have 4 kids and one of them is graduating in May! I agree with the wing and prayer I need that as well! What classes are you taking?
A&P over .. Mine expired.. I took them in 2000 at mountain view and el Centro.. .. Next I have chemistry.. Am also taking intro to transition nursing... And critical thinking class
I had to retake them over too I did mine at WCU! It won't be that bad you will survive! My HESI wasn't an Ace either but score was okay!Wow that is a lot are you working too? How is the Intro and Critical Thinking? Can you tell me what your class schedule is like? I am trying to figure out how to manage my work schedule. I appreciate your help and we will keep supporting each other! So your an LVN you didn't try a bridge program?
Yes I work full time as a campus itinerary nurse... Intro class is very interesting... A nice A.. To start off with.. Lol.. Two of my classes are online .. The intro class is on Thursday from 1-2:50... I was going to do the bridge program with a school here but I didn't want to take the TEAS.. Then I was talking with this lady and told me I should give chamberlain a try.. She had nothing but great things to say... Yesterday in class the associate dean came to speak with a couple students because they pair you with a faculty mentor... Anyway she was telling this story about the school being able to help you.. Very emotional.. Well she was crying and the instructor was crying., am like God they just might do really care[emoji1]
I have a great God sent supervisor who work around school for me... Very very supportive
I work full-time as well at a busy Clinic I work on Saturdays too! Thank you so much much for sharing about the classes I am starting to feel relief! I agree wit the TEAS that is very difficult test! Yes I have also heard nothing but good things about Chamberlain and I went to open house last Summer and talked to the Dean and seen the school I was very impressed! Thanks for the emotional story's!!! Wow that is so good that they are that caring and give you a mentor! I have somewhat a supportive at my job but I am hopping to get my classes in the mornings due to my work schedule. Well you stay motivated and keep moving ahead we will survive this journey! We will support each other!
