:singing:ANYONE HAS AN IDEA AS TO HOW I SHOULD PROCEED?
Please give me your opinion and/or advice & I will see how it can benefit me thanks in advance colleagues!
How it happened?
I am an oversea RN, & passed my NCLEX-RN in 2002 after the State Board of Nursing verified my credentials with Chauncey Group International in 1998.
As happy as I was, in 2004 I started to work with INS permission in a hospital that filed for my work authorization.
While I was so close of receiving my green card in 2007, and entitled to a bonus, I had to resign from the hospital, because CGFNS refused to grant me the requested Visa Screen Certificate to present to Immigration Services.
FYI: Already an RN, I still complied with CGFNS' requirements to have my credentials re-verified, sending forms to my (oversea) home school, including taking the TOEFL Test in 2005.
CGFNS allowed my passing scores to expire & constantly gave me the run-around claiming, they did not receive any information from my home school (that time).
Writing to the Director and talking to Managers to intervene made things worse.
I had been busy with CGFNS from 2004-2007.
10 Months after my resignation (in 2007) & while Immigration Services closed my case the certificate was mailed to me.
Lawyers tried reopening the case but at no avail.
Because of this CGFNS issue, I am a homeless RN. CGFNS does not care when I confronted them with my situation, but demands for me to renew the Certificate, while they know how they have been playing with me for years now &, just feel elated to give me the run-around again.
I miss a lot. I yearn to operate an Elderly Day Care!
I refuse to give up!
Please feel free to email me if you have any solution for me.
Thank you so much for reading my story & God bless you all!

So are you still in the US without a legal status or did you return to your home country?
Dear JustBeachyNurse,
Thanks for the question, but not to be rude, the issue is, not many foreign nurses have good to say about cgfns, which is kind of a shame for such a company bearing its name "World Credentialing Organization".
To achieve their goal & become more productive, I believe CGFNS needs a more humane, & higher responsible authority to whom they should report to.
Note this info from our popular website, & please focus on point #5 under Visa Screen Certificate:
In order to receive a VisaScreen certificate, CGFNS must conduct credential reviews of your nursing education and licensure, and an assessment of your English language skills. You must also be able to pass either the CGFNS Qualifying Exam or the NCLEX exam. According to the CGFNS, when you receive theVisaScreen packet, you should:

Academic transcripts must come directly from the nursing school(s).Complete the enclosed forms to send to your licensing authority(ies). Validations of all licenses, past and present, must come directly from the licensing authorities. You must successfully complete an English language proficiency test and have the scores directly forwarded to ICHP from the testing agency. You must successfully pass either the CGFNS Qualifying Exam or the NCLEX-RN examination if you are a nurse.( # 5 exempt one from the cgfns drama) We all know how hard it is, & what it takes to become a caring & empathetic person who unselfishly tries to meet clients' needs.I would love for cgfns to stop crushing peoples dreams & be a more reputable & respectful organization.
Sadly this is what occurs when there is a monopoly.
