Looking for help. Nfriend has green card has been in Us for a year is this exam required. Located in NY. What is the best way to take nclex and quickest? Does she need both? Please some guidance. Is another state an option here?

    Hope you don't mind if I ask, What state is she at? Where did she get her BSN? It depends on what CGFNS the BON requires, if it's just evaluation then I'm sure there is no exam included, if it's the certification (I'm not sure what it's called) I know you need to take the english proficiency and submit it to CGFNS and need to pass other requirements along with that. I'm not really sure about the certification because I just did the credential evaluation. You need to tell your friend to contact the state BON and CGFNS as well.

    having a green card doesn't affect your application or with any requirements (except that you can definitely provide an SSN, more like an advantage to me).
