Hello again....TO ALL...
I just want to hear from anyone who has just sent or taken application for the NCLEX...specifically the Foreign outside U.S. nurses.. I have paid the NCLEX application and they have sent me the fingerprint hardboard and i have paid also all these. Now..I have heard that the ATT will take about a year..IS THIS TRUE?? Some said, I will need to apply first to the Credentials Evaluation Services.. I have already also applied for the CGFNS. I have observed that CGFNS and the CES address is the same...Does this mean that the CGFNS also evaluated me and that they can send my credentials to the Board of california Nursing ?? meaning the, CGFNS is good enough fas a substitute for the CES?????
OOH Pleaese.....helppppppp!!!!!Give me your experiences and ideas in this...So, I may know what to do next.
I am a very pretty nurse..but these days..my wrinkles are all over my face..so that my vital signs are all poor :stone

Hi Barbie,
I see you got plenty of help already, nevevertheles, extra info is always good.
I did international recruiting for several USA companies, and the process hs changed over the years, however, there are some basics to remember.
Your options to become an RN in USA are these;
Taking the NCLEX by traveling to a countries/cities offering the examination, or taking the CGFNS exam which when passed provides a Visa-Screen certification, first step to enter USA with CIS blessings and permit.
Once you have passed your NCLEX exam, in USA if you come through CGFNS Visa-Screen, you may, one seek an sponsor, like a hospital ( not to many want to get involve into a unknown process) or you seek a visa adjustment
applying for you I-140 through an immigation lawyer, or you simply do it on your own and by yourself learn the "paperwork process".
There are a few firms doings the whole process for you; from profiling your skills to assisting you with the CGFNS and NCLEX, HOUSING, VEHICLES and SPONSORS FREE to you...because these firm collect from the hospitals.
DO NOT PAY ANY FIRM FOR SPONSORSHIP...! THERE are others firms not so good, and some better that others.
If you need more information just drop me a line. I know a few philippino Rns just arrival and that may want to give advise too..!
Best regards,
