Certificate of Good Standing

Hi all, I'm a registered nurse working in Singapore for the past 7 years. I obtained my nursing license from Malaysia but i have never worked in my country before. I was a sponsored student during my Diploma days and ever since i graduated, i went straight to Singapore to work. I still do my yearly license renewal (Malaysia). I recently applied to work in Australia and AHPHRA has just replied me asking me for my Malaysian COGS. Do i still need to apply for my Malaysian COGS though i have never work there before? Your replies are very much appreciated. Thank you.
