CEN continuing education

Sorry if this has been addressed in a previous post. I’ve had the CEN for a year now and have tried looking into how to go about obtaining the required CEUs. What resources can we use? BCEN obviously has some but I can’t afford to pay for all these hours. What have you guys used? How do you apply these hours to your profile?

    I have found some great ones on the ENA website, free if you are a member. At my hospital I have attended lectures/presentations. Also, trauma grand rounds.

    I look to my regional EMS agencies for paramedic refreshers that offer nursing CE as well.  Most will put on some kind of annual symposium that meets there there continued education needs, which are pretty consistent with the CEN, the trick is finding the nursing CE to go with it.
