CCRI Spring 2018

Anyone applying for the nursing program at CCRI for spring 2018?

I just took the HESI this morning, and I'm waiting on my final pre-requisite grade to be posted. (fingers crossed)

I have 188.2 points and I will need the Lincoln nights program. I am retaking the hesi tomorrow which I stand to potentially earn 5 points from that, granted I would have to get a perfect score on everything in order to get that. I'm nervous that 188.2 won't be enough :( !

think you should be good with 188 points! Good luck

My friend talked to an advisor who said that they're thinking it's going to be in the 190s for acceptances because so many people retook classes last semester to get the better grades for them. I also know that sometimes they'll use scare tactics to try to make sure you do your absolute best in the classes. I just don't want to wait another application period!

Oh my word, 190's is crazy high. I applied with 183, to both Lincoln and Warwick. Pretty nervous now, I wonder how many applications verses how many open spaces. The hard part will be the waiting. Best of luck to us all.

I said screw it & applied so we will see what happens! Now the wait will kill me slowly lol good luck everyone!

I applied, but unfortunately (for me) I applied with a 177.9 which I'm realizing is most likely not going to be good enough. I got a 91 as my cumulative grade for the HESI, so maybe I can try to retake it for a better grade. If I don't get accepted, maybe during the Spring semester I'll retake Human Anatomy for something better than a B+! I wish we could find out sooner so that I could know if I need to retake it this semester instead so that I don't have to wait! You guys are all so smart getting such high grades! Congratulations!

Does anyone know what the lowest accepted grade was for the last round?

Newport was 177.5 - 198

Providence was 178.8 - 198.8

Lincoln was 182.1 - 197.6

Warwick was 181.6 - 198

I had a B+ the first time around when I took anatomy and I got the A when I retook it

Hi everyone. I just submitted my application today. Does anyone know if you have high points do you get your first choice? Good luck to everyone!

its getting ridiculous to get in. I have applied 4 times and have 2 A's and a B+ all, 84's on my Hesi and still cant get in i have wasted so much money its crazy. I'm 47 and have to keep paying and retaking. I have taken so many classes that my financial aid is shut off. They said i should have had an associates by now. I just stay positive and hope i have my RN by the time i'm 50. It is very frustrating and exhausting but its my goal. My points are same as yours so stay positive and don't give up.

I applied today to Lincoln only with 182.2 points. Not feeling very hopeful at the moment.

I got an A in anatomy first time around but had a B+ in Writing and Psych from courses that I took 10 years ago. Maybe there is not many people applying? Seems like the previous threads had a lot more people commenting.

Best of luck to everyone!!!!!
