CCRI Fall 2010

im so nervous i want to get in for the fall, im completely anatomy now...and need to apply in aug. Do you think i have a chance of getting in?

i talked to someone today at liston and they said they think the programs are all filled

Do you still have to take physiology and microbiology if you are completing anatomy now?

The orientation is today for this coming fall. Have you tried calling admissions for either the Warwick campus or the Lincoln campus?

This is my first post... I just recieved my letter of acceptance and the orientation date for warwick days is aug 3rd so im not sure if they plan on taking anyone in from the aug app period. I would definitly call

Hey guys, congrats to those of you that have gotten your letters. I applied for this fall in Newport for the evening program and I am freaking out. My friend got her letter the other day and I still have not gotten anything. I called today for some insight and they said a decision has not been made yet (it could be good but could be bad and dont get your hopes up is what the girl said). I was in tears! i, like all of you have worked so hard to get where i am(3.5gpa) and will be so disapointed. I am only able to do the night program, so my question is this: what are my options if I dont get in? Can i apply again in august? this is so stressful!!!!!

Hi, I applied in June for the fall evenings lincoln, or newport. I spoke to a Ruby Morris-Jones. She actually called me back on the same day. She said they have to go through all the application from February on. Orientation was yesterday for Lincoln. She told me there was one student that dropped out, so only one seat available. She told me to apply for August and October anyway. You never know someone could drop out. OH the Drama!! I am also stressing out.

The August application would also be for this September right? What is the October one for? My understanding was that the evening programs only start in September. I have never been so nervous about something before!!! UGH!

You are right there is a link Admissions Information - Office of Enrollment Services - CCRI that explains the application process. I was thinking of giving Newport a call to see if they notified everyone. I'm thinking that its far for me and they might have openings. I'll let you know how it goes.

Keep me posted! I have called and left 2 messages and emailed twice with no responses. I am getting a bad feeling......

But heres the thing; they keep saying there is no waiting list and its all grade based. I checked my GPA to be sure and it was a 3.6 so I am trying to be positive and am hoping for my email next week. Maybe by some chance of god they go by the alphabet (I am at the end).

my hair might be gray by the end of this proccess. LOL

I left a message on friday. My last name begins with a "C", but I applied in June because I was having a hard time passing the teas exam. The way I understand they go by gpa, I have 3.1. I wonder what happens to the people who have a 2.7. They say there is no waiting list but I was told to check to see where I am on the "list". I think it must be on first come, first serve basis as well. Anyway apply in August as well. We have to get in one way or other. Best Of Luck and keep me posted.

Congratulations to all who have been accepted into the Fall 2010 nursing program at CCRI. I, too have been accepted and will be attending the Liston campus in the fall. I am so excited because I actually mailed by my application and it was received on June 29th one day before closing of the application period and I finally heard from them on July 24th! I hope when the time comes for us all to graduate, we can find some jobs because this economy right now is no joke. Good Luck to everyone of us future RNs!!!
