2013 CCP Nursing Program

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to get this started for those who have applied to the program this year and want to get to know other applicants. I was accepted into the CCP nursing program for the 2012 fall semester start date. I attended until 6 weeks before the semester ended. Sadly I had to medically withdraw from the program so in order to continue I had to reapply and start over again. I am hoping to get back in this year. I look forward to talking to other people who have applied and get accepted.

    So I applied for ccp's nursing program but didn't get accepted for the fall 2013 program. I got really discouraged until I spoke to an academic advisor. She informed me that I was only off by 1 point to be considered for the program so that kind of motivated me. She also recommended that I still attend the college and just take my prerequisites for nursing and apply again and at first I was excited but now I am getting nervous again : /

    If you were only off by one point I would recommend appealing the decision. A lot of people that get accepted decide to go to other schools..like myself. I got in but am going to Gwynedd Mercy instead. Because of that, my slot free's up. Its worth a shot to appeal just to see what happens. Good luck.

    My physical is scheduled for July 5th so ill probably have to give them the 2 step shot verification later. Hopefully it won't be a problem
