CCGA BSN Program Question

Hi guys!

So, I just submitted both my ASN and BSN applications to the College of Coastal Georgia for the Fall 2016 semester. I just would like everyone's honest opinion on if I have any chance of getting in-my GPA isn't the best-a 3.23, and my overall HESI score is an 88.4% (92% bio, 80% A&P, 88% math, 92% reading comprehension, and 90% vocabulary). I have gotten all As and Bs in my sciences, except for a C in microbiology. I would prefer to get into the BSN over the ASN, but my advisor said to apply to both, so I would have a better chance of getting in. Any of your opinions or advice would be much appreciated! Thank you ☺️

Hey! I personally studied my past AP1 and AP2 books and notes, and that helped me. I only passed with an 80%-but at least it's still passing. If I could take it over I would have focused more on hormones and AP2 material, like the heart and the lungs. I also downloaded the "Pocketprep" app and a few of the AP questions on there where word-for-word what I was asked on the test. I would highly recommend you downloading that! Also, I studied the Elsevier Admission Assessment Exam Review, 3rd Edition-but as far as the AP part goes, it was a very broad review, and not very helpful since the HESI's questions are much more in depth. Wish I could say more, but I don't remember all the questions too well! Hope that helps you some.

Got in to both BSN and ASN they had problem with my transcripts but will see yall this fall for BSN.

I downloaded the HESI app on my phone to practice questions everyday. I also used the practice book. I feel like I had to do process of elimination during the test. I made a 96 though so I guess that worked.

Hey if possible can you please look online and tell me how many seats they have left. Thank you sooooo much!!

For which program?

Hey for ASN and BSN I applied to both of them

Not sure about the ASN, but I believe the BSN program has 18 spots left. This morning I looked on the Fundamentals of Nursing class I am enrolled in, and there are 60 seats and 42 of them are filled.
