CCBC Spring 2023

Where do we see all of these requirements/ where to order uniform? I thought we were doing all of this at our orientation in December. This is now stressing me out

Yes! The letter I got only told me about the orientation at Catonsville in 2 weeks and then Essex in January.

Did you join the Nursing student connection for Catonsville campus on BrightSpace? They send out notifications thru there and I also get them on my CCBC email.

I don’t have access to brightspace yet. I think it is because I have never taken classes at Ccbc yet but thank you so much.

We got an orientation booklet I believe that had a checklist of things that we must get done before school begins.

We haven’t even had our orientation yet? Was it mailed to you?

My orientation is scheduled for December 13th. We must be in different programs. I am days at Essex.

Which one are you in? I received one for Hybrid and it did not have anything relating to Essex.

Catonsville Hybrid. The letter said 12/19 is the program orientation at Catonsville Campus and the School of Health Professions New student orientation is 1/20 at the Essex campus.

So I am in the Hybrid program. I received the orientation booklet containing the list of things to complete before 1st clinical and uniforms and books.

It also stated that my 1st in person orientation is on 12/19. I'm pretty sure they will go over all information needed so please don't get anxious ☺️. I just like to do things wayyyy ahead of time since I have children and IDK how my future schedule would look like.

Same and I work so I’m trying to figure that out too. 

Does anyone have recommendations other than clogs for the shoes for the (obscene) uniform requirements? I remember they had a photo of Cloves in the “No” column but couldn’t find any reason why they would be.. Been a tech for years with no issues w canvas shoes so a little confused.

hi current student still doing preqiuistes have a few more to go. I plan on applying in January for fall. what is a supplemental application ? and is that an additional application needed as well.

For the past application period (Fall 2023), the seat fee did not appear in the SIMON account early.  My daughter got her acceptance email for Essex Days Fall 2023 around 11:00 a.m. today (27 March 2023).  Her seat fee didn't show up in her SIMON account for an hour or two later.  Just wanted to add this bit of info to the thread for future applicants.  ?
