CCBC online/hybrid program

Do you know anyone who took this? I'm trying to decide whether to apply for online/hybrid at catonsville or evening/weekend at essex. I'm curious as to how realistic it is to expect to be able to successfully take nursing school courses online.

Hopefully someone can help me with some useful info. I am plannig to apply to the CCBC catonsville online/ hybrid program for the fall 2011. I have heard they changed the schedule from one 12 hr day on campus to one 8hr day and one 4 hr day. Nothing on their website has been updated. I was wondering of anyone had any info about the days of the week or the hours such as when they are and do they flucuate. My employer offers different schedules and I'm trying to see if one of them would work for this program .. Any other helpful info would be great.. Thanks ...

Hi, I am not sure if you have already found the answers to your scheduling questions, but I was told by Gwen Jones (one of the program's advisors) that clinicals are Monday and the seminar is on Wednesdays. Is was also told that clinicals are from 7am-5pm. Hope this helps!

Yes, I applied for this program twice (sadly didn't get in), but they did indeed change the in person days. You now have to go face to face for one whole daytime, and then on a separate day do one whole night time class. You are no longer able to do both in one day, so now its the online portion, then two days face to face. The director did say that the days can change throughout the program, so it may change to different days of the week, different times, or more/less days.
