Career question

Hi, I am a new grad working in a large surgical ICU. I just started. I like critical care but I am curious about becoming a quality assurance/ improvement nurse. I have my ADN. Not BSN yet. Could I have gotten a QI RN job right out of my ADN program? Or is that an opportunity that won’t come about this soon in my career?
