CAPA CERTIFICATION

I am planning on taking my certification this fall. I have been going over review notes and questions given to my by others. Is the core curriculum book worth getting?? And what other tips can anyone give me?? I work in extended recovery (phase III)

I too am taking my CAPA this fall. I do have the Core Curriculum and Certifiaction review for Perianesthesia Nursing. It has lots of question and answers that are very helpful. I also recommend the practice exams on abpanc. I took the test spring of 2013 and was unsuccessful, failed by like 20 points. I was so discouraged, but afterwards I feel like I took it to soon. Also study the newest standards book! I hope this helps. Good luck.
