I know it's hard to work so hard for something, and things don't pan out! If you studied on your own the first time maybe you can try an in-person or online test prep program and they can help you in areas you were weak. Good luck and trust me if you can make it through grad school, you will eventually pass this exam! A mishap doesn't determine your potential!

I didn't pass my first time either.
Did either of you take a Barkley Review course? I highly recommend it if you haven't.
Do you have plans to retake it yet?
I have gotten my results but am studying again. I will retake as soon as I feel prepared. I bought some study material from ancc. I am gonna do this review before scheduling again.
You have to wait 90 days to re-take the exam.
During these 90 days, I'd run to a Barkley Review. He is REALLY good and got me fired up to re-take the exam.
I took hollier review debating over taking the Barkley

Hi Kharwell,
I'm sorry to hear you did not pass. If you don't mind me asking, what specialty are you pursuing? I am preparing to take the ANCC AG-ACNP exam later this month. Thank you.

I took the ancc fnp and the aanp fnp failed both. Retaking the ancc in September.
