Can you take CNA Program online?

Nursing Students CNA/MA

I went to San Joaquin Valley College for Medical Assistant and stop half way through the program due to a lot of issues at home.Ughh! Now I owe, $10,000.00 for half way... sucks! Yesterday, I talked to the employment connection about MA and she said that MA is a waste of time because most employers hire for those who have experienced already. Now, I am planning just to go on CNA maybe online. Can you take CNA online? How long does it take to get it done? At least this time I don't need to repay my loan back than going back to SJVC and my debts getting bigger and bigger for $18,000.00 the whole program, I think it's not right that they charged so much and you can just work for $8.00 an hour start. I'm so confused now...... but I have to do something in my life and hope do the right thing next time! Ohh please advice ... thank you in advance!

There are some colleges that offer the theory part of CNA course curriculum online. But one cannot learn the complete CNA course online, as you can’t have practical hands on training experience there. Therefore, if you come across a website that is offering complete course online then be aware of these forge sites, as they must not have state board accreditation. CNA classes are an essential part of CNA Training and prepare you for the CNA Certification Test. Depending on your state of residence, you may have to go through a training of 100 to 180 hours.

I agree. You have to have a certain amount of hours of class time, then also clinicals where you will do hands on training at nursing home &/or hospital. Plus, your state exam will have you test on your hands-on skills as well as written test over your book work. Classes can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months, depending on where you take it.

Okay got it! It's really better to go to campus then. I really appreciate you guys advice. Thank you so much! God Bless Us All!
