Can I get into a nursing program with a misdemeanor assault?

Hi! I am a pre-nursing student. I am almost done with my pre-reqs and I am preparing for my states test which is called the TEAS where I live. I currently live in SC and I have a 3rd degree assault on my record. I was 17 and I pushed a girl, the apologized to her on facebook and she filed a police report. Three years later she went to my same school and called the police on me. I had no idea she even filed a police report and that there was a warrant out for my arrest for three years. I have two more years until I can get my charges expunged, but I don't want to wait to start nursing school. I am not a violent criminal, I just made one mistake as a teenager. Will my school allow me into their nursing program or should I wait two more years until I am able to expunge it? In my state btw I do not need to disclose if I have ever been charged with a crime after expungement.
