Hello, I am a foreign graduate in BSN and I recently applied for the NCLEX in California, but they said I need to take additional classes in psychiatric nursing, I already applied to a school for the required classes, but before I commit into doing that, I am also wondering that if I took the NCLEX and get licensed in a different state like NY and just endorse it to California would I encounter the same problem?

It doesn't matter if you are licensed in another state or not, they will still look at your education and if you don't meet the requirements they will expect you remedy the deficiencies before granting licensure or sitting for NCLEX
