Butte College

Lottery should be coming up soon. Anyone else apply??

I have applied 3 times for the RN program at butte college. They should be doing to lottery any day now. I'm not sure how many applicants there are but there is a nursing workshop you can attend and it provides a lot of information about the program plus you can meet some of the instructors and ask them questions. 1st time applicants have a 4% chance of getting in,2nd time 6%, 3rd time 80% and they for sure try to get you in by your 4th time....I think this is what they told me....Good Luck=)

Well Jbee2 I hope that you get in. It sounds like a long shot for me to get in since its my first attempt. In past years around when did they send out the results??? thanks for your help

Last Feb. lottery it took about a week for them to send me the email saying I did not get in and for the Aug. lottery it was about 3 weeks. Don't give up you will get in sooner or later;)

Have you heard any news yet...I'm so anxious....have you taken the teas test yet?

Nope I haven't heard anything. I check my email on my phone way to often during the day haha. And yes I already took the teas exam version 4. My fingers are crossed for me and you.

hi! I applied to Butte also. It was my first time applying. I applied to 5 other schools too. I also check my email on my phone waaaay too much. The anticipation is killing me.

This was my second time applying to Butte. Last time I was sent an email stating they had received my application, then three weeks later I got the email saying I wasn't selected. Have you guys received the first email yet saying you're part of the lottery? It is so hard to wait!!

Yes, I got an email saying I was part of the March lottery, but have heard nothing since.

I found out that first timers are the only ones who get the confirmation email - Good luck everybody!!

Hello everyone! I also applied for the Fall 2011. Cant wait to find out the results of the lottery, good luck to you all :)
