Wanted to start a forum for people applying for Butte Colleges nursing program Spring 2025! We should be hearing about acceptance any day now, so nervous! Has anyone heard anything?

Good luck!! I also applied to one of Butte's program. I should've applied to both but only did the accelerated track one. Should have a score of 80. Haven't heard anything yet.

Wow, good luck!! applied for the accelerated too. Trying to be hopeful because I should have full points but I'm still so nervous since we haven't heard back yet
You've got nothing to worry about. The score to get in last year was like a 65 or 70. I'm a little worried the score went up for this application cycle and I'll be drawing for one of the spots. I doubt they had more than 48 local applicants with 1800 hours, 4.0 in the sciences, and a 80+ on the TEAS
I'm actually more nervous now that the only other score I've heard is a 100 😂. Good luck, although I don't think you need it. Your hard work should be more than enough to get you in!

I bet you're right about the 48 spots. That's a lot of people to match those requirements..it will be interesting because I've talked to people that are nervous about the accelerated program and didn't apply to it due to kids/work so I wonder if they had as many applicants as the regular one. I'm assuming we will find out Monday for sure!

Oh shoot... that's interesting for sure. Thank you for sharing that. It actually makes me feel a little better about my chances. I've heard traditionally they start emailing the last week of September. I've been hoping that now that they have 2 programs it's harder to get those emails out early.

Oh that makes sense. Well you got this! Getting a 4.0 in the sciences alone should be the accepting factor 🤣

Or make the top TEAS score a 90... I think 80 was probably too low. Oh well. Doesn't matter now. Hoping what I did was good enough and I'll be at orientation with ya. I'm confident you'll be there.

Hey all! I am anxiously awaiting the October 1st announcement (for the ATRN program) as well, it's definitely calming my nerves that no one else has heard anything either. I applied for both, but am not expecting to get into the traditional RN program as a first time applicant and really want the ATRN program anyways. I for sure have a score of 75 points, *possibly* 100 if they accept my work experience, but I am doubtful since it was not one of the listed job titles. I was told by the department receptionist when I went to apply it couldn't hurt to include it. I heard last round there were folks with scores between 68-100 that got accepted. I hope well all get in 🙂
