I need some help with articulating my desire to return to school for my BSN. I want to persuade my SO to support my desire and I want to persuade the admissions people that I am a "good" egg.
I personally want the BSN so that I can work in Public health. I really love teaching people to care for themselves; seeing the AH! when a patient connects the dots with their health really makes me feel wonderful.
I enjoy my LTC job but I know that it isn't where I want to be forever.
So anyone got any ideas?

You've articulated it fairly well to me. Go for it. Good luck!
Most RN to BSN programs don't need a whole lot of convincing for you to be admitted, in fact most actively recruit and aren't that competetive to get into.
Good luck!

That is a perfectly good platform to use for your "I want to go back to school" pitch. Good luck!
