BSN at Roosevelt?

U.S.A. Illinois

Has anyone heard anything about the nursing programs at Roosevelt University? I think they are close to my house, but am not too familiar with what they're offering? I would love to go somewhere close to home- less driving means more time with my kids! I have my RN and want to get my bachelors so I can get into management and work better hours! Any suggestions?

Just incase anyone is wondering- I found out Roosevelt does have a BSN program. It sounds like a pretty good deal- I am going to apply this week. They have a discount on tuition and I think they have a scholarship for people who sign up early enough. (Hopefully I get one!!!) They are in Schaumburg- by Woodfield- Close to shopping- this could be dangerous for my pocketbook!

No, I didn't know that they had a BSN program. I checked on their website though and it's a BSN completion program, though. Good luck!

I don't know anything about Roosevelt but I just wanted to say that I don't think you could have better hours in management. My manager works way more hours than I ever could. I don't know if you meant by not working weekends you'd have better hours. Plus they are cross-trained at my facility to act as house supervisor and they do have to work the holidays for the house supervisor or fill in for vacations/abscences. I don't mean to be down on you but I would hope you want to go into management for more than just better hours. Quite frankly we have a manager (who is new into management) and several people are upset with her because she can't manage very well.
