I am applying for the Spring 2014 admission as well. I take my HESI on Friday. You never know what will happen. I've seen on some boards from previous years where some people have gotten in with 28.XX points. It all depends on how many applicants and the average points of the applicants. Right now I have 13.75 points without the HESI so we'll see!

I've just taken HESI yesterday and only scored 90. I'm crying & worrying a lot. Any of you remember the cut off point that the dean mentioned in the info seminar? I am sure he did say something like: if you have twenty something points, you are pretty competitive. Now i don't remember exactly if he said 28 or what. Crying,crying. I could done better on the hesi. Good luck to everyone applying for spring 2014.

Hesi is not difficult. Just take your time to work on each question. I took mini breaks during the test to drink water & gather my mind. Lots of ratio problems in math section. A&p is just basic questions.

He said at least a 27. I got a 90 as well. I took it today. I did poorly in one section of the Reading and got 90+ percentages in everything else. I was slightly disappointed as well. I went to speak with a nursing advisor to see if what I had was even worth applying. She encouraged me to apply. I have 28.7 points. She mentioned that the last application period, there were not many applicants at all and many people got in with lower than normal points. I pray it is the same for this semester as well! Don't worry dear! How many points do you have total?

How did you do? It was freezing in that room!!LOL

I am talking to a nursing advisor tomorrow to see if my pathophysiology is transferred. I took it out of state. Until then will I be able to calculate my points.

Anything is possible! We don't know how many people are applying or the average points that people have. Who knows, we can get asked for an interview! Apply and we'll see!
