Please has anyone gotten an email yet?...this is so nerve-breaking!. I am feeling so nervous?

Hi Roberta it's Mike. Several people have gotten the emails about points and we should get ours sometime today; it just takes a little bit of time for the nursing department to get them all sent out. I'm stressing it too but we'll be good

Hello everyone! I received an email stating that my points were off! I have a 22.50 points. I really don’t know what to expect next of my points is enough to receive an interview. I’m so confused

Oh no!..how was that possible. did you miscalculate the points before or you didn't finish taking the support classes?

Hi Dee, from what I've heard on here they'll send out emails by 5pm tomorrow letting us know if we get an interview. As far as how many points you have to have to get an interview, I don't think anyone but the school knows the answer to that one, so we're all just in the waiting mode again. Sorry I don't know anything more

I just got my email with my points finally.

I did all of my support course.I practically took everything. AP2 micro, pharmacology, patho,  and ethics .so do they count points for  prerequisite ?  All I have left to do is the nursing aspect of it! That’s why I’m so confused. I applied at Mountain View and they count prerequisite course. 

Well for the four core prerequisites (English, A&P 1, Chemistry and Lifespan Growth&Development) they use your overall GPA in those four courses to give points (I.e. if you got a 3.5gpa then you get 3.5 points. As far as the support courses go, it depends on what grade you got in each course how many points you get - an A is worth 3 points, B is worth 2 and the ethics class & something else (I forget at the moment) are only worth 1 point. And of course whatever your HESI test gave you on points.

I think if there's any confusion or disagreement with the amount of points you have that you need to email Barb IMMEDIATELY and get with her to get it straightened out.

OMG! I still haven't gotten any mail for point yet...I have been refreshing my inbox since today. It seems like I am the only one left!

Hi Roberta, please don’t worry.  I’m sure Barbara has a lot of people to get through and there’s still the entire day tomorrow.  

Reminder: Interviews will be Monday April 12 and Tuesday April 13, 2021. You will receive an email on Friday April, 9, 2021 by 5pm notifiying you if you qualify for an interview.

If you are invited for an interview, you will receive another email from a Faculty member advising you of your interview time and more details reguarding the interview.
