Brookhaven Fall 2021

Hey guys, I just want to open this up for us to communicate and help each other during this application period. Meanwhile, I am preparing to retake my HESI... So how many points do you all have?

Now the question is how long to wait to send an email to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) asking what's happening if we don't hear anything today or the next few days.... I'm thinking I'll wait till either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning to email Barb if I haven't heard anything by then. Hate to bug her but I don't think it'd be stepping out of line to ask

I think that’s just fine.

The wait is crazy, however to calm all our nerves I did email one of the nursing advisors who said (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said we should receive those emails by end of the week. I also asked about the points and he said the official point selection for the Spring was 27 he doesn’t know about the fall but he says it all depends on the overall grade performance per application period. Totally nervous at this point

Thank you Ivy for emailing the nursing advisor and posting that info for everybody! That's a huge relief and I appreciate it

So much appreciated Ivy! Still so nervouse though LOL but thank you!!

Thanks Ivy and all for the information!

I am also very nervous. I hope we all get positive responses

Hello ,

last semester, I applied for the Spring with 27 points and I got an interview . However, I didn’t get in and was an alternate . Lets cross our fingers we get in . I have been checking my email and I haven’t received anything .If I receive or hear anything from them ,I will let you guys know.

Oooh no I hope you get in this time around . Did they give you a reason ? I know in the fall they pick more students so let’s hope we all make it through . All the best

I have girlfriends in the program right now who talk to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) all the time. She emailed her Barb and she said they never give students a solid number but she recommends 29-35 points but it varies every application period since they take a different amount each period.

At this point I m just trying to stay positive about it because I only have 27 points . No , I didn’t ask them why I didn’t get in .

Thank you and wish you the best.

All the best I hope you get in . I also only have 28.71 points. I hope our points are good enough to get us in !
