Is it necessary to dilute albuterol/ipratropium with
normal saline?
The eCPS says:
"Dilution Instructions: If necessary, before use, doses may be diluted to a total nebulization volume of 3 to 5 mL with preservative-free 0.9% sterile sodium chloride solution and used immediately."
What is "if necessary....may be diluted"?
Is it okay to give it by nebulizer without being diluted?
