BRCC nursing program 2019??

Just wanted to start a thread of people applying this year. I also have questions for anyone who’s currently in the program right now about per-semester costs. Also has anyone who’s in the program currently gotten in with a B in A&P I?

Hey, I took two prerequisites at BRCC and my GPA is a 3.8.

I know someone who got in last year with a 3.4 GPA, 1 Prerequisite at BRCC, and a 94 on HESI and got in.

Do do you know how they select applicants ?

It's probably because they scored high on the hesi

It goes by how many courses you took at BRCC, GPA in the 5 courses, and overall score on the teas test.

So they don’t do like a drawing or a poll and pull random names ?

No. It's based on:

10% classes taken at BRCC

40% GPA

50% teas score

Okay gotcha!

Im hoping and praying that I at least got into the Advanced section.

I know I made some mistakes. I went back and second guessed myself. I'm hoping for exemplary. I will be satisfied with that. At least an 80 or higher.

Yes I did that too a couple times! I hope we all did great!! Just hoping for the best!

Yes me also. They had a lot of applicants this semester. Good luck to everyone.

Yes I know. It was close to 400

Yeah and that's a lot for just 60 slots

Hi, I'm also applying to the nursing program this semester. I have a 4.0 gpa with 3 prerequisites at BRCC. I just hope my teas score is high enough.
