BMCC Nursing Program

Hi Everyone!

I'm new but I couldn't find a recent BMCC post so I started one :-)

I've been hearing some very concerning things about admissions (or lack of) to BMCC Nursing Program and was wondering if anyone could clarify. I'm currently taking my pre-reqs and will finish by end of Fall 2013 semester. I know that it is an extremely competitive program. However, I've been hearing from some people who applied this semester (to start in Fall) that they were rejected even with a 3.9 or 3.8 GPA and having passed the HESI exam. Is it really that impossible to get into? If it is, perhaps I should consider applying elsewhere and transferring out...
