BLS classes?

Hi AN,

Has any of you in Washington done BLS courses through AHA? I feel so dumb looking at their website, but it doesn't seem like that many places offer in-class sessions. There's 1 option coming up in Seattle, and the next closest to me is in Everett and the timing is on weird days. Even if I do the hybrid class, the ONLY skill session offered is still in Everett. Grr am I using the search feature wrong?

I would rather take a BLS course in person for hands on training, and everyone on here says AHA is the standard many hospitals accept. But there are many other BLS online courses that seem to come up in my search as well. Please help!

Thanks!

Hello! Try searching for CPR Seattle or Cascade Training Center. Both of them are accredited training centers by AHA and have alot of upcoming classes.. I'm going to attend Cascade Training classes on Saturday. Goodluck!

Oo yes that is perfect, thank you! I think Cascade Training Center came up on the AHA search but they only let you look at one week at a time so I was confused. I think one of their Saturday classes will work. Thanks for your help!! :)

I did mine through CPR Seattle and got a great discount by enrolling in one of the classes led by an instructor-in-training.

Thanks petiteartichoke! Turns out CPR Seattle is like 5 blocks from where I work and they do evening classes so I registered for one of theirs:) I saw the discount classes but couldn't make any of the times work. I'm so glad I don't have to go all the way to Everett now, thank you!

Yep, cascade or lifetek are good
