BitterSweet:(

Im not a very emotional person but the past few days ive been extremely happy & then a little later get sad because my final day at work is this friday:-(. Im nt gonna miss everybody just the one's that have known me the 12 years ive been here & i feel like they practically raised me(i was 17 when i started) Ive gotten awesome feedback from the people i know care & they all have said the same thing "baby its about time! You have been wanting to be a nurse for so long & kept putting it off & off, taking classes here & there & not just completely focusing like you should" & those comments make me feel like a little girl making her mommy proud! I know ive made the right decision. the same dedication i had to my job i will/am going to put it to completing my education & being a c/o 2013 LPN GRADUATE! Im glad things happened the way they did because if not, the fear in me would have been passing up my dream career of becoming a nurse to continue to work at a place that yes paid the bills & given me stability but it was JUST A JOB I want a CAREER! What i thought was the worst/hardest decision i ever had to make turned out to be the BEST THING that has ever happened(other than buyin cute leopard print pumps:D). I know the road ahead is going to be challenging but i know i will & can make it & Im ready! You aint seen nothing yet because the BEST is YET to come! Congrats & Blessings to all you wonderful NURSING STUDENTS lets do this not just for ourselves, familys & friends but lets do this for our patient's who are counting on us to give them competent, complete & total care:)
