Bioethics Exam

Published

I am taking the Bioethics exam June 30 and was wondering if anyone could give me any tips? Are there any practice exams available beside the EC practice exam? Any study guides you know of beside the EC content guide? Any words of wisdom for the exam itself?

I would like to take the test in July instead, but Pearson Vue will start charging their own fees at the testing sites starting July 1st, so just trying to get this thing done before then.

Thanks,

Are you referring to the Bioethics: Philosophical Issues exam? If so, KNOW that practice exam like you know the back of your hand....inside AND out! When I took it last year, it was like déjàvu ;) Google the ethical cases in question. Very interesting read which makes it easy to remember who was involved in what on the day of your exam.

Good luck!

Thank you so much and I will definitely google them! Already have the books but at least they were very cheap and rented. After hearing from you and BSNINTHEWORKS I'm feeling a lot better about this.

Thank you for your post. I'm currently studying for my bioethics exam in Sept. I'm using Munson book and focus on the theory. I did my first practice test and they ask ? based on the ethics theory. I read that people say google the case from the practice exam, i don't see how can you search the cases in the frist practice test. Please let me how was the exam and how did you google the cases from the practice test. Thank you Aortic dissection

The ethical cases in question are located in the EC free content guide. This is your test plan on what you can expect to find on the exam.

Like BSNINTHEWORKS said, the EC content guide will have the case studies listed on it. I did google each one of them and they were very interesting to read. I also watched a ton of YouTube videos on different subject areas and different theorists. The YouTube videos really helped me. Also, like nkeyshi and BSNINTHEWORKS stated in previous posts, GET THE PRACTICE EXAMS! They were so right about them. I have never taken a test that was so like the EC practice exam as the Bioethics was. I did great on the test and never even needed the recommended books. I already had the books, but luckily they were rented and very cheap. Good luck on your test!
