Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello all, I am trying to get my pre-reqs finished in time to apply in Feb for the 2010 RN program. As most of my education has been business based, I have had no real science classes since middle school. I am trying to take BIO and Chem online this summer to allow time for other classes in the fall. The courses are offered online and I am nervous as I had never taken classes online before.
Does anyone have experience taking the sciences online? I am also taking Medical Terminology, and feel that should be good as on online class. But the BIO has me especially worried, seems like it should be more hands-on. I am disciplined and motivated so that shouldn't be an issue. Just the actual curriculum.
Any insight or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi, I have never taken an online science class but I understand what you are talking about when it comes to the business classes, lol! I changed my major to nursing this past January and I was on my second semester of business classes for Accounting. Bored me outta my mind!lol.
Anyway I am taking chemistry online this fall only because I can't fit in the traditional classroom time anywhere because I am taking my CNA course during the day and in the evening I will have Mat 070 and A & P I. I will be taking general bio, chemistry, and life span development online. Hopefully I can get in for fall 10' myself too. I worry about the chemistry and general bio also considering the labs are "online" as well. Seems rather odd dosen't it? I have taken other online classes in the past and honestly, I think they will be easier because they are open book for the quizzes, at least for my college that's how they do it.
Good Luck!!
