BHCC Spring 2016 Applicants

Did anyone else apply to the nursing program at BHCC for Spring 2016? I have an anticipated graduation date of 1/2018 on my profile under program evaluation and not too sure what that means. I'm hoping it means I got accepted!

Or is there another thread I need to know about? Spring 2016 Bunker Hill Community College applicants?

I am in a pickle right now. I received an email from BHCC confirming my application and prereqs followed by test dates for the Teas V for the Spring 2016 Program back in September. I then submitted by Teas scores. But on October 28th, I received an email from Admissions stating that they've received my application for the FALL 2016 Nursing Program and to await the Teas Test dates? I tried calling and emailing them but I will try again on Monday. And there are no active programs in my Program Eval either. This is very concerning considering I have a 4.0 in all my prereqs and a 91 percent on the Teas V. I hope it was an email error.

I would definitely call first thing Monday morning! You should have no problems getting accepted with such a great overall TEAS score and GPA!

Thank you!! I called admissions and they said it was a glitch and that my application still stands. I hope to see a change in my academic profile soon :sneaky:

Me too! I've been checking throughout the day! By looking at other threads, and last year's, our profiles should be updated soon if we've been accepted! Did you apply to the day or evening program?

Hi RVH084!

I applied to the day program but I believe they also gave us the opportunity to pick the evening as an alternative? I looked at last year's threads and previous years and most stated that their profiles change around November 7-8th and others say end of November. But I imagine since the deadline for the Teas V was October 26 then the Nursing Committee would most likely meet a few days later to organize the grades and tests by ranks.

I would be less anxious if my program evaluation reflected the program I applied to then at least it will set my mind at ease that I am being considered. Even though I called admissions, I can't help but feel like they kept rushing me off the phone and giving me the "yes your name is here (now leave us alone).
