Does your employer provide short term and long term disability? My new employer provides them both as an option but they are very expensive. I do plan to have children in the next year or two maybe, how much short term disability coverage do I need? It is so expensive! When I lived in New England all of my jobs were union and included these benefits, so now that it is not included I feel clueless. Anyone have any advice?

    Mine doesn't. I have load of comp time for short term and Aflac for long term.
