Beginning MSN/NP program immediately after Bachelor's?
I am graduating from a BSN program in Pennsylvania this December. My ultimate goal is to become a nurse practitioner, and I am interested in graduating and immediately beginning NP classes to work on that degree. Is this possible? I know that many schools do not require experience, but do they allow you to apply and become accepted without actually having graduated from the program yet (or having your nursing license?) I am used to being in school so I am interested in doing this for the sake of staying on my routine, and of course working while I'm in school, as I do now. Has anyone gone directly from graduating from a BSN program into an NP program the following semester? What schools have you gone to? What are the best online schools for NP? Any information would be fantastic! Thank you! Trying to think about things early :)
