how to become RN?>

this is my first post please be easy on me

my name is sana, 22, recently moved from states and currently residing in Ontario, Canada. i am going into Bscn program @ seneca/york university.

i had little complications when i moved up here. i was four months away from graduating high school. but i have done all my sciences still i was away from one 12th grade english credit. my question to you guys is that do i still have to take GED or take prehealth course at seneca ??or they will just make me take some sort of profiency test and i should be fine. i have not done any volunteer work or dont have a cpr course yet. do u think i should do it before they even ask me. i am really desperate to get into the program. because this is something i am capable or see myself doing in the future.i have already applied through colleges of ontario and waiting for the reply.

any suggestions will be appreciated....:nuke:

Hi there! Welcome to Canada...my 1st advise..try this site:

http://www.senecac.on.ca/fulltime/BSCN.html

and call the number at the bottom for admissions...ask them your questions and you will be able to get a definate answer.

If you don't have a highschool diploma I doubt you'll be eligible but you might qualify as a mature student. Again, the people at Seneca will have all the answers you need.
