Bayada Nurses in florida

Hi,

Is anyone familiar with Bayada Nurses agency? Particularly one in Florida?

Thanks!!

Bayada has had offices in Tampa Bay for thirty years. An office just opened in your area, Boca Raton, in July 2011.

In effect, Bayada has only four offices in Florida. Two of those offices have both Medicare licensed and private pay agencies in the same building making the official total of six Bayada Home Health Agencies in Florida.

It's somewhat odd to me that in a state like Florida (twenty million total residents and three and a half million residents over sixty-five years of age) that Bayada hasn't grow larger than four locations in thirty years.

The Boca Raton agency is licensed only, meaning the agency is private pay, not medicare certified. The office has been advertising since August for Live-in Home Health Aides.

The Tampa Bay locations almost always have help wanted ads for Home Health Aides.

Branch Administrators, and Clinical Managers are advertised for almost as frequently.

Locations in Tampa Bay have been fined several times (at least six) by AHCA, twice in 2010 for $5000 each.

I've worked for Bayada PRN for three years out of the Tampa office. The staff has been the same since I started there. The Sun City office is pretty much all Medicare and the Tampa office is private pay. The check always clears, there's always work if you'll do it.

Well OK... but it only takes a glance at

to see there's a Clinical Manager needed in Tampa and Clearwater right now. An adjoining county has had 3 Clinical Managers and 3 Branch Directors in a year.

Might not be a coincidence that there was a new Division Director about a year ago. Young, sales and marketing background... Try LinkedIn or Glassdoor for more. I believe Bayada is the new Maxim.

My experience with the Tampa office has been just fine. You can find problems anywhere you look, even when there are not any glaring problems. Unfortunately, no workplace is perfect. But, I like the manager and DON. The schedulers are fair and know their staff. And I've always been treated well at Bayada.

Bayada talked with me over the phone(Tampa areas) but said they would be in touch if interested. ***** I'm usually hired spot on. Weird.
