baby in the navy

I was wondering if anyone would want to share how they juggled being pg, then having a baby as a navy nurse? Honestly, it's the only concern I really have about the navy.

It's my understanding that many nurses have rotating shifts. How have you seen (or experienced) pg nurses handling the stress of shift changes on their body? More importantly, how do they juggle shift changes and a baby? I guess I'm just a bit nervous about having an infant, working night shift & then sleeping all day....leaving me little time with my baby. Obviously, this is too the case for many civilian workers---& believe me, I'll be asking them this same question once I start working as an RN next month. I was just wondering how the demands of this situation in navy nursing differed.

Thanks :)
