AVC RN PROGRAM FALL 2020

OMG, I have been waiting on someone to start a thread because I’m extremely nervous. I applied for the LVN-RN bridge and this is suppose to be my year to get in. We are on a waitlist system and I’m number 12. Letters for us was suppose to go out next month and I’m praying that is still the case?.

I’m so anxious!! I applied for fall 2020 RN program and finished with 65 points

I am nervous that hearing back about acceptance into the program will be delayed due to the Corona virus.

I am also applying to the nursing program with 65 points! I was wondering if things were going to be delayed because of the corona virus. I wrote an email to the nursing councilor but I still haven't heard back from it yet. Do you know when we are expected to know now?

Thank you for letting us know! I figured this was going to delay things. I'm just dying to know whether or not I got in. I have no idea the kind of points you need to get accepted and I'm afraid 65 points isn't enough. I wouldn't think any later than the first week of June to give us enough time to get all our shots that are needed

My friend who applied last year for fall 2019 said she found out in June. But that was under normal circumstances ?

Oh. This whole thing is awful! I can't believe the campus is closed for the rest of the semester. Hopefully, things aren't delayed by too much. What I got told is if you got accepted, you would get an email, and if you didn't, then they will mail you a rejection later.

Usually acceptance emails go out sometime in June for the fall semester. Unfortunately, they take less people during fall because this is also when LVN’s are chosen. I really hope it doesn’t get delayed ? If you get accepted, you get an acceptance email but they do not send out rejection letters anymore, as far as I understand. Hoping for the best for everyone!

I cant remember her name but the lady I gave my application and is the one who goes over applications to see who gets in is the one who told me they mail out rejection letters. but things are crazy now so who knows if they will now. She just told me this right before the shut down happened.

I hope so too! The closer we get to May, the more anxious I get, even though I don't think we will find out till June sometime. The nursing counselor told me to check back in with her later and are hoping to keep on top of it and not be too late announcing who made it in.
